A quick Q - stirrups/treads

Hoping someone can let me know what to do here?

Bought some mountain horse boots which have this funny SC3 thingy system - so got some gadgety-looking treads to match the soles of the boots. Tried puttin gthem on yesterday and they're a quarter/half inch too big for my stirrups!

So - the treads are 4 1/4 (110mm), and I'd rather just buy some new cheap ebay stirrups than return/exchange the treads. So what size should the stirrups be?
 
TBH I thought that was pretty much the standard stirrup size - apart from kid's stirrups.

Hum.

They definately don't fit in my (safety) stirrups. The treads are a load bigger than my current ones. My stirrups aren't too small for me.

I might just take the treads to the tack shop and find some that fit them.
 
I have the same treads and they fitted fine in my standard stirrups, your stirrups must be small! It was quite an effort to get them in but they're fine now. I do find they keep my feet secure too so its worth finding stirrups they'll fit in.
