Hi HHOers,
I just wanted to thank all of you who have taken the time to read and reply to my posts in Vets regarding my elderly horse who is having a phase of mild spasmodic colic.
He has colicked only twice before in the 20 years I have owned him, and am finding it very upsetting and stressful to deal with - adding to this stress my mum and dad are currently away on holiday (my horses live at their house on a fab yard) and I am staying at their house Horse, dog, cat, guinea pig, and fish sitting (around full time work!) whilst they are away - which means I am dealing with this on my own.
I really have felt reassured by all of your comments and posting on the forum has made me feel so much less alone dealing with it all - so I just wanted to say Thank You for making a stressful time easier.
Its been great to hear from so many other caring horse owners who like me, have the best interests of my boy at heart.
Thanks again, I really do appreciate it,
Gem
