A quick update on poorly Pippa...

She didn't have a great night, she slept upstairs because she wouldn't settle downstairs but looked very uncomfortable.
We took her to the vet again first thing this morning and he has kept her in to x-ray....we are picking her up later this morning.
Vet said it could be the start of a slipped disk or a tumour. I am really trying to stay positive but it isn't looking good. I think I might try to work out how to post pics of her on here later to cheer myself up!

Back from vets, the x-ray showed nothing as sinister as I thought! She has Osteoporosis, she is currently on some for of anti inflam/steroid tablets and then she is going to have to be put on Meticam (sp) if her current meds don't work.Aparantly, Meticam is very expensive............

So, not as bad as I thought although it sounds like it will be a case of keeping her comfortable, poor girl!

Have a look on www.hyperdrug.com or medicanimal it may be cheaper to get metacam from there.

Thanks, was thinking about getting it online, defo much cheaper, little beast seems loads better this evening (obviously meds might be masking the pain a bit), trotting around wagging her tail!
