Has anyone else watched this new documentary on Amazon Prime?

Very tastefully done linking ADHD and the horse industry. Which I do wonder what the percentage of people with it are in the equine world.

Yes I watched it. I've known Lilly since she was quite young and then worked with her. Its a bit weird watching a documentary about someone you know!

I haven't seen the documentary but surely there will be a correlation between ADHD and any job that is ever changing an requires a lot of movement. Builders, tradies, paramedics, dog walking, horse industry.

Yes there is and that’s what it discusses.

There is a professional who explain the correlation as to why it works so well but also the pitfalls.

I completely agree, if I do end up doing psychology at uni, I want to do a study on the psychology of riders. A specific profile (in the DISC model) also seems to appear in almost every horsey person I’ve ever met, including myself.

I often see high-functioning autism a lot as well.

Funnily enough on radio 4 this morning there was a segment on how there seems to be a high prevalence of ADHD and / or autism amongst sports people particularly at professional level.

It’s being talked about a lot in the farming industry as well.
