So now i have finally found a few hoursto myself i thoughti would do a short report.
Last sunday we went off to ascott to do the 90. I like Ascott and always feel quite positive. The times were nice with dressage at 11. so went to warm up and she felt fab went in to do the test and she went really well, It was all going well until i forgot a walk between m and c, which upset her a little but went back and finished the test que one very grumpy rider. Back to the box and we had a little wait until the sj.

I just had a quick a look my dressage mark and saw a lot of low scores but was very shocked to see 29.5 on the score board, on to the sj and after a clear at swalcliffe i felt a little positive but also knew my record of 4 faults could still reapeat and sure enough second fence fell, she only just touched it which was really annoying, had a look at some of the photos and you can see on one of them she is cms above the pole so we were lucky just to have the one, Please excuse my riding in the video i was trying to hard for a clear around the rest of the course.

Xc as per normal she was fab was slightly worried about 7a and b but saw a stride and rode for it, Got close to part c in the water but otherwise a good round and inside the time, Finished 10th on 33.5 the annoying pole dropped us from 4th Any tips on how to get her to make more effort in the sj welcome.

Just to add this is my sisters ex flat racer in the 80T she has reschooled her for a year now and she is impoving well. she had a 39.5 dressage 2 down sj clear xc but with ten time faults.
