A really strange question....

Do Gelding know when their female riders start their periods? Sorry about the question but i had mine 2 weeks ago and noticed a little difference with Hemir, he was a little more showy offy!! As if he remembered what to do to attract the famale...so to speak!

Well dogs certainly do! I would think a gelding may well know, but have no scientific evidence to back it up!!

I think they may do, and my mare definitely does! When its that time of the month my mare is absolutely evil and will wind you up until she makes you cry, but the gelding is a real show off and extra sweet and clings to me a bit.

Don't know about geldings but my friend's welsh stallion definately knows!

one word - ouch! yep stallions definalty do, i heard somewhere that the female riders at a stud would have time off when they were on, so the stallions wouldn't play up! don't know if its true though xx
