A Reason Why Hay Prices Have Shot Up

Touch wood hay prices haven't gone up at my yard yet. Still £25 for a large rectangle bale of hay and £8per week ad-lib haylage

I'm in County Durham and my usual supplier has had to buy in some hay this year as he hasn't cut enough himself. I'm already paying £30 a round bale, but have been told that this will be increasing quite a bit just for him to break even
