For the past week I've been helping with the clipping at the yard I used to work on, well today we did all the little lead rein/begginers ponies all 12.2hh and under, we have a pony pen where the 4 golden oldies live together, now I left the yard in jauary and at that time both pippa 34 and lucky 32 where about to be semi retired which they where but seeing them for the first time today since I left I realised just how poorly Lucky has become he has always had a frozen hock but coped wekl with it, but was diognosed with cushings about 2 years ago, now it has really taken hold and he is no longer coping, and so next week he will be put to sleep, so I just wanted to say good night little Lucky, you where cheekiest loviest pony I have ever had the pleasure to know and take care of, everybody who knew you knows you now and has learnt to ride on you and managed to sit to your bouncing and bronking and wall of death canter we all where lucky enough to experiance in your younger days, all your escape attemtps both the ones you pulled of and the ones you didn't, all the times you squeezed through the fencce to play with the girls and all the little tots you've tought to ride in your 18 years of being the favorite riding school pony of kids both big and small. We love you and not one of us will ever ever forget you and there will never be another Lucky Doodle Doo, sweet dreams little boy, time to play with your buddies Ladybird,Twinkle,Thomas and Horice.
