Did a Trec comp today, May was so good, the only errors on the obsticles were my fault! I was supposed to walk over the bridge but I trotted

, and she was too clever for her own good on the reverse corridoor! We walked in and she reversed out before we even walked over the line!

Did'nt get any marks for our walk at the end, not sure where we went wrong there, but overall she was a very good girl

Carr Side is my new livery yard and in fact I watched some of your round (very impressed by your canter through the bending poles

). You can just about see me on the video by the side gates in a lavender coloured top. And you were coming out of the indoor school when I was leading my two back from the horsewalker. I knew I'd seen that chestnut head somewhere before!

May is lovely and although I had no idea what I was watching she seemed to do everything very well. You were the only one I saw who got under the limbo poles without knocking any off. Well done!

Aww, wish I'd have known, would have said hello! How long does it take you to drive there? Its quite a way from anywhere, but a fab place.

She has been soooo good since I moved yards, think I took the wrong horse with me!!! She is not even on any hormonal supplements anymore either, just a bit of calm and condition and a small scoop of quiet mix with her balancer - will have to see how she is when we come to somerford next.

I live in South Preston and it takes me about 25 minutes so not too bad - well worth it for the fabulous hacking and it's such a lovely yard too. All the livery yards nearer to me have very poor hacking which is my number one priority!

I haven't met many other liveries yet as I'm in a different barn and only moved there last week but I think Christine is still there - I think it was her who I annoyed the other day when me and my grey exploded into the outdoor school whilst she was schooling. Entirely my fault - it's a good few years since I've been on a livery yard where you have to share the indoor/outdoor schools with anyone else and I forgot my school etiquette

May looks great - what a super round and how clever was she (both of you) at the low branches! The walk was probably too slow to score - that's what happened to me on my last competition. (From the rule book - not a quote - the distance used is 150m so if the comp walk is less they pro-rata it but walk speed for 150m must be 67 sec or less to score 30pts up to 96 secs to score 1 pt, actually quite fast!) Great result!
 
Hi Lisa - Yes I'm still there. Was sorry I missed you yesterday, I knew you'd be going as you mentioned it in a post to Pidge the other week that you had a Le Trec comp on. I was at Church Farm yesterday at Dressage so you must have arrived after I had left. I kept going while I was getting ready to see if you'd arrived, you nust have been on in the afternoon.

Well done on your 4th place by the way, there seemed to be a lot there.

I was a bit stressed as I had gone in the outdoor to practice for my dressage test and as it was so windy he was being a total muppet and spooking at absolutly everything

The hacking round there is brilliant isnt it. I've seen you coming back from a hack a few times, in fact I think you were just about to go out last night when I was mucking the wagon out.

I will keep my eye open for you next week and come over and say hello.

Thank you! Did have a wander but could'nt see Jethro or your wagon - I did'nt get there until 2.30 as I had a late time.

Are you coming to Church Farm next weekend for Eventers Challenge?

Ahh, I really should have read the rule book!! But at least I will know for next time. Was just really pleased at how well she is behaving now.

We will have to do the next Scorton Pairs one.

I'm a bit out of the way in the other barn so haven't really had opportunity to bump into many people yet. No need for you to apologise, I was totally in the wrong - I've been renting my own yard for the last 18 months so got far too used to just doing my own thing. And Haj - my grey - is not the best horse to share a school with when you're on something a bit sharp. He can be a very bad inflluence! Jethro looks lovely btw - how did you get on at Church Farm? You're much braver than me - I love eventing but much prefer to keep four hooves on the ground.

The hacking was the main reason for going to Carr Side. I can't wait to get up onto the fells. I did whizz out on both of them last night - just need the clocks to go forward and then I can get some proper riding in. Roll on the summer!

Yes I'm doing the eventers challenge at Church Farm next week. Which class are you doing. I'm in the novice so last class of the day I think! Have you done it before? If so do you wear x country colours for the jumping bit or do people just tend to wear jackets?

Let me know what time your on and hopefully I'll see you there
