A serious how much.

Have a figure in mind, but thought I should have a bit of feedback first before chucking the advert up.

So here goes...

Carless Calypso (Joey) is a 5 yo, 13.2 Reg Section C gelding who has a fabulous even temperament for his age.
Brilliant to bath, groom, catch, load, clip and trim, taking everything in his stride. He has done XC schooling, Show jumping, M&M Showing and Trec with me and taken to everything really well. He hacks out alone and in company and is schooling nicely with a really bold, clean jump. This responsive boy is willing to please and now has a rounded foundation with which to start his competitive career.
Would love to see him go to a competent teenager/adult that will cherish him as much as we have, genuine reason for sale. Tack and Rugs available. More than happy to chat and answer any questions.

Ideas? Like I said, me and trainer have both got a figure in mind, but haven't sold a horse for a while so a little unsure as to the market. Thinking of putting the advert on horsemart.

Can sell tack and full set of rugs with him but its an almost new Sabre bridle and Ideal saddle, which i bought for £550 less than a year ago so wouldn't really want to include in the price.

Any help much appreciated.

He looks absolutely gorgeous, but I wonder if his size means children are his main market? Is he sensible enough and experienced enough for a child to take on? You may find that with another year of work and a competition record you can get more money for him.

I'd agree with that, but I am now living in Edinburgh for the forseeable future and paying someone to ride him 4 times a week and take him out and about, funds aren't going to allow me to do that for much longer unfortunately. Last thing I want to do is sell him, but it's getting to the stage where I need the money and he's ready to go on.

I'd say a competant child with enough confidence to reassure him would be fine. He's very honest and even tempered, but young and still needs that confidence in his rider
Personally think he'd make a cracking BSJA pony, but unsure as to where to advertise for that market.
