Ok, who else is in this situation?

I have more jodhpurs/breeches than jeans.
I have more Joules polos than regular T-shirts.
If you open up my wardrobe, there are (new and yet unused and unpacked) stable rugs, etc. there, and yet I struggle to find clothing for going out, etc.???

Hmmmm...

been there my friend! had a MASSIVE clear out this month actually as I moved yards and didn't have room for all my **** anymore!

Off the top of my head, I think the jodhpurs about equal the jeans (although I'm also counting smarter brown or black jeans too, which I can get away with at work so count as part of office wardrobe).

Joules polos - no - nothing against Joules, but am proud to say that I do not own a single item of Joules clothing (because I refuse to get sucked in by the latest trend in clothing labels). Loads of cheapo t-shirts though, which I don't mind getting trashed when I'm out and about with the horses.

Wardrobe - no rugs in there. A couple of bits of going out stuff - one outfit for black tie (same old dress, same event, once a year, every year - just use a different scarf/accessories in the vain attempt to convince people that I'm not wearing the same outfit yet again!) - above mentioned jeans and work clothes etc., oh, and show jacket and shirt. Loads of pairs of boots and shoes in the bottom which I haven't actually worn for years but can't bear to throw out "just in case".

I have a cupboard, chest of drawers and wardrobe full of lovely clothes, jeans, trendy tops, joules selections, gillets, smarter cardigans etc. All of which have been naughtily' worn down the yard and have since become everyday wear (yard/work/goingout)!! For example today I wear Oasis Jeans with Tommy HF polo and lovely cardigan been at work(relaxed office) and will, in a short while go and ride without getting changed! My clothes have all become very versatile it seems!

I draw the line at mucking out in my ball gowns though!! :)

Guilty as charged :o:D

Although I'm practically out of breaches and jods, I need to buy a few pairs, some of my white ones have mysteriously disappeared...OH does the washing and they may of turned another colour, I think he may of binned them and accidently on purpose hasn’t yet told me!

I'm dreading winter this year- I've just put Phoenix onto grass livery and have no storage space. I only live in a studio flat but luckily it has a quadruple wardrobe- the top shelf of which is filled with my winter rugs (cleaned and packed away for now!) and riding stuff. It's a scarey sight!

But yes, I easily have as many pairs of breeches as jeans!

I have had a big sort out. I have to wear suits for work and then breeches for the yard. Bit of a shocker when pointed out that I dont actually have many "casual" clothes. I have suits, huge amount of riding gear. Very smart going out gear

and about 2 pairs of jeans. Either in a suit or breeches!

hmmm....very very familiar....I did this a while ago.
I found I have 30 polo tops of one kind or another, but only 4 work shirts.
I have 7 pairs of jods, 1 pair of jeans and 3 pairs of work trousers.
I have a hunting jacket and a hacking jacket, and 3 "horsey" coats. I don't have any suit jackets or smart jackets.

I have 3 pairs of shoes/boots for riding, a pair of wellies, and a pair of walking boots. I also have 2 pairs of work shoes and a pair of trainers and 2 pairs of heels for going out.

I have 9 scruffy jumpers and 3 smart jumpers for work. I only own 2 skirts and 3 dresses.

what on earth do I wear all the time? I donated a load of stuff to charity recently too to try to reduce the space I need, but it's all filled up again!

Intruder....you have been through my wardrobe!

Why will I spend £200 on riding boots but have been wearing the same pair of shoes for work for about 2 years?

Mad as a cabbage, the lot of us.:D

A LOT of jeans...those in the wardrobe are smart ones and the ones in the drawer for riding! Not that many jods as I don't ride English that much now.
Tshirts and scruffy fleeces stuffed in drawers for the yard, smarter musto/joules ones in the wardrobe for work. Oh and six pairs of cowboy boots hiding in the corner (well, I haven't got many pairs of shoes... ;)
Lots of shirts that double up as western show gear and also for going out...fortunately OH's clothing mirrors mine except he has more suits and smart stuff as his job requires it.
As for the rugs, well there's some in the lorry, some in the container at the yard, some in another container at his work, more in the roof and a few in the spare room waiting to go in the roof. OOPS :)
There are a few ballgowns which tend to get worn once or twice and then go to a charity shop, ditto the dresses I buy to wear to weddings and then put away...

Yup I'm the same. I have millions of horsey clothes and like 2 pairs of jeans, 1 dress and loads of polo tops (which double as non-horsey...!!). Oh and work clothes - but I try to forget about those!

Im terrible though - I'll happily spend £100 on jodphurs or £250 on riding boots but freak out spending £50 on jeans or shoes!

I think my wardrobe is actually worse than most!

I have countless jodhs and only three pairs of jeans - only one of which are fit for wearing 'out', the others are 'yard jeans'

Don't own any Joules clothing (too poor for that) but numerous 'fruit of the loom' hoodies, bought "3 for the price of two" from my local saddlery

More yard jackets and/or show jackets than decent ones I can actually be seen out in public in!

One pair of trainers, one pair of heels, one pair of nice boots. Vs. Three pairs muckers, three pairs jodh boots, three pairs chaps, two pairs wellies, one pair long riding boots and various horse rugs.

I have so many 'warm clothes' which aren't exactly flattering, but after this winter guess whos laughing! Also I have recked soooo many jeans from riding in them- don't do it guys!
