Hi am wondering if any one can help I have never done much showing before just the odd class at a local unaf show I normally SJ and dressage but am looking for a new horse and have a 12hh filly with very nice paces and excellent confirmation and thought while am looking for a horse to compete on I might as well do some showing with the filly, problem is I have no papers for her and have been told can not affilate with the BSPA without her breeding history, so is this correct and 2 is there any way round this. Thank you

Hi there just answered your post in lounge. Have no idea about coloured associations but you could show her in riding pony or shp youngstock affiliated with no breed papers if she is quality enough.

you only need breed papers for arab and M&M classes. BSPS, BSPA, CHAPS and most other societies dont need breeding, if you dont know it just put unknown in the box. I have a pony who is registered with the Bsps with no idea about his breeding.
