A small rant

My sister's pony is now staying with us since she came back from loan.

The lightest rug she has is a full neck med/lightweight turnout and it's just too hot for that atm but it's been raining on and off too, sometimes quite heavily.

I have kept an eye out on all the rug deals I can find so I could pass them on to her but she keeps telling me she can't afford to buy one even for £20.... well fair enough she's not very well off for money right now but the pony needs a no fill rug

So I decided today to buy her a cheapy one, with P&P it cost me £25 so I called my sister just to double check the size and told her what I was doing.... she didn't even say thank you! She's done a lot for me in the past so it's the least I can do for her but it's not like I've got spare cash lying around either and a thank you would have been nice

Anyway rant over now. Coffee and orange biscuits if you got this far

I had something similar with my niece, she wanted rug/s and a bit - cheap or free. Told her to try preloved/ebay or I might have some to mend - too much effort...I think she's still waiting for me to take the bits down to her...if I'm the lender why not come here? Family I spose!

Very true Tessybear, unfortunately the colour may not be to her exact taste, it's blue not pink

I'm not really mad or anything just a bit sad that I've cut into my very limited funds to try and help out and she didn't even sound happy about it

It was either a choice of dry but really too hot pony or wet and could get rainscald pony so I don't understand why she sounded so.... I suppose she sounded kind of irritated? I don't know it wasn't that she sounded angry as such but she definitely wasn't a happy bunny but what was I supposed to do?

Some people are like that, Perhaps her pride is to much for her to thank you ( not that it's an excuse). You have done a good deed and im a firm believer in those who do good recieve it... eventually

Aye possibly Well I do have a lot of giving back to do where my sister is concerned so I think I'll just let it go and be happy the pone is happy
