This feels really insensitive as so many have lost their dogs this week =[ but a few people have emailed me for updates so thought I'd put one up on here.

Chlo is doing really well. She's using her leg 100% normally apart from when she's desperate for a wee and hopping is easier than running! She is also doing the odd step properly. She's leaping up and down off the sofa like its an olympic sport - we've given up stopping her and just shut her in her crate when she's on her own!!!

She is also now cocking that leg when she cleans her bits, and is moving it in all directions.

The only slight problem is that the wound isn't healing quite as quickly as I would like, its still got the little pink line. But its bone dry, not causing her any issues and the operation was only a week ago!!!! So its probably fine ;) hah.

Anyway, thats all the news really. She was such a good girl yesterday, I was home from uni really really sick and she spent all day asleep on the sofa next to me - or at times on top of me!!

EastKent - vet thinks that yes, she will probably need her other hip done at some point - but that this should take the stress off it enough that we're talking years down the line. He thinks (and I agree, looking at how much better she is already!) that we'll notice when he other hip goes. Obviously, depending on how far in the future that is, we'd make the decision again whether we'd do it then.

She is doing great, she does walk funny but tbf she wasnt meant to be even putting her foot down yet!!!! So a bit of bum wiggling is allowed!!!!! Will try and get some videos taken of her walking this weekend.

Thanks for all the support guys, its the HHO vibes I'm telling you.... ;)

Goya - any time. xxxx
