A day in the life of the ASBO wolves starts at 7.15 with a trip round the village green (no photos as OH does this and it'd only be pics of them pooping anyway :p). Then back in to pile onto my bed laze about for half an hour while I get dressed and have a cup of tea.

Then it's into the car. This morning a little old lady was walking by as we headed out and stopped to exclaim 'oh, what beautiful dogs!' etc. R promptly sat, wagging his tail, and gave her his very best greeting woo - only it being quite early, he's quite gruff in the mornings, it was more of a 'RrrRrrr!'. Little old lady jumped backwards, muttering 'don't you growl at me!' and scuttled off down the road, me forlornly shouting 'that was a greeting, not a growl, I'm sorrrr-eeeee!' after her.

:o

Down to the yard, they have to wait in the car for half an hour while I muck out and turn out ASBO pony. Then, onwards!

Would normally stop here for a photo op on the stump of a huge great blasted oak but the field was full of very curious bullocks, best not to linger!

Past the gallops - I have permission to ride here, still haven't mustered up the courage to have a go over the fences, even without the brush on!

Coming to the end of the gallops, having just passed a couple of beautiful young TBs walking back in. D was terrified of them, strangely! R very polite given that he's had little experience of horses yet.

R managed to poop again within seconds of leaving the car, hope I don't forget that it's on the roof. :o

So very, very far removed from the sleek and shiny creature of the summer. Can't wait for clipper man to come.

The result? A sleepy furry foot warmer. Enough time to change, pick the shavings out of my hair and head off to uni desperately clutching a travel mug and a sausage roll. Then to repeat it all this evening...

I'm exhausted reading that!!!!! Great piccies :D
I went a bit OTT with pup yesterday, we did most of the Scenic Trail (he's only ten months, eeeeeek!) and then had to take B out and we are both a bit knackered :o :o :o

I took the back seats out. :p The cage is a bit of a squeeze for the two of them, when I've got some spare cash I'm going to look into having a wooden false floor made for the back with a dog guard instead.

They are also smaller than people expect, only lab sized really and a lot lighter. :)

ASBO 'oss looks like an 'orrible bog pony that nobody loves and will be in for a shock when the clipper man comes and removes several binbagsful of hair. :p Need to have a go at washing and combing out that tail ready for the painful task of pulling it, pity me!

You make me feel guilty that you do all that and then head off to Uni ... whilst i find it a struggle to shower, have lunch (normally slept over breakkie :o) and get to uni on time :o :o

All floofy puppies and asbo ponies are gorgeous.

Great photos, I have recently taken to hanging the sacred "last poo in sight of the car" from the rear wiper blade so I don't have to put the smelly bag in the footwell of the car. I have had some funny looks though! Oh and don't forget it's there and try to use the wiper!! :D

You make me feel guilty that you do all that and then head off to Uni ...

I don't manage it some days. :o I am invariably late and smell faintly of horse piss!

LOL @ wipeout's poo bag hanger, I hope this doesn't backfire on you one day and leave you with a smeary window. :p

Toffee, take the back seats out! :D I couldn't fit either of them in the boot with just a guard, D used to have to travel on the back seat.

Lovely pics and Im surprised they are a lot smaller than I expected, what do they weigh?.

Also lovely horse always wanted a black one but somehow always ended up with greys except 1 bay.:D Is that a yew hedge in his field?

Yeah they are quite dinky really, both 24" tall and 24kg, strictly speaking the max limit for a husky is 23" and 23kg for dogs, even smaller for bitches. The back yard breeders are churning out monster sized dogs, sadly, our friends have one that towers over mine and weighs 35kg.

No they can't go off the lead except in a fully enclosed space, thankfully I have access to quite a few of these. :) They are not to be trusted with livestock and have very poor recall, it's a breed thing. Too many sheep, squirrels, cars and farmers with guns to let them roam where we are.

DG you should have got a black one, they don't show the dirt. :p

It's not yew, just some horrible conifer thing that the neighbours put up, bloody thing has shot up and blocked out all the light. Bet it's leylandii! They hate the yard being there, have fenced and hedged themselves in to a ridiculous degree and complain constantly about us driving up the lane or receiving deliveries. Luckily that is only the winter trash paddock, they go out in a lovely field on the edge of the village in the spring.
