Well..........................

Took song to the vets today for x rays and hopefully to have the all clear to jump but as always all is not quite sorted. The x rays were good and there was no fuzzing around the bone, apparently hes very lucky!! Lol and what amazing things knees are that's all i have to say seeing the x rays!!

But before the x rays were took he was trotted up and then with flexion test and he wasn't quite sound - as the vet said not that unsound to stop us doing anything but just not quite right enough to start jumping yet as he thinks it is the scar tissue reacting to more work!! So are still on plan to do sapey in april all be it greased up for all jumping - looking like an intro numpty here i come as i will have to grease even in the SJing!!

and i looks like if hes ok by then our planned lucinda green clinic that i got conformation of this morning will be our 1st jumping session and i can just picture her face when i turn up with grease on his knee for her 6inch pole jumps!!! Lol

Anyway a light bit of light at the end of the tunnel but i think i can only see it i squint really hard!!

Well done if you have got this far

xx

Aww glad to hear that his x-rays are good. Flexion tests are awful things - i hate them. What level will you be starting at for the season? Also - I need you to set me up with Sam Thomas

. I did add him on facebook (my brothers went to school with him so he should know me really) but either hes never on there, or he declined it!

Good news!! and good luck for his next check up that he gets the all clear.
Have you got him on a joint supplement and possibly a balancer just to make sure he is getting all the trace elements for a tissue repair and regrowth??

Ah thats great!!!! Your much braver than me though, would never dream of takin my boy to a clinic for his first jumping, he would actually kill me with his excitment!!!! Good luck though, I suppose u could be supplying the entertainment!!!

That's good news about the X-rays but slightly disappointing about the flexion tests - still we all now about them! Hopefully all will go smoothly now and you can start jumping soon.

hes usually quite calm so finger crossed he remembers how to pick them up better than last time we jumped
