So hoping if TFC reads this they may direct it to the relevant people at the mag. No doubt there is an enormous amount of pages to fill this week with Badminton cancelled. Having followed Claire Lomas on Twitter and seen the fab pics every day I then wondered could H&H not fill some of their now empty pages with a mile by mile of her walk...who walked with her, what they had to say, public reactions etc. it could be just the push to get the sponsorship up to a nice round £100k! Any thoughts?

Excellent idea, not a medal but the Virgin Trophy for 2012. Awarded each year to sports men/women who go that extra mile :). So very well deserved ! :)

Hi everyone,

Many thanks for the suggestion.

We don't actually have empty pages to fill in H&H this week. Because Badminton was cancelled well in advance, we are able to change the number of pages in the issue which would have contained the Badminton report (10th May) and save some pages for reports and features later in the year which we would like to be able to offer more space.

We are of course huge supporters of Claire Lomas — several of our staff have been out walking with her and we've covered her epic walk on our website and in magazine. I hope all goes well for her in the final couple of miles and I'm pleased to report it's a beautiful sunny morning here in London for her today.

Thanks,

Pippa

Love this

Well, it won't be as fat as if it was the Badminton issue, but we certainly haven't just pulled the Badminton pages and replaced them with nothing, don't worry!
