To be family friend, RC level / fun horse / poss hunting & very local level showing.

Here is the advert
SKEWBALD COB 2YO GELDING To make 15h. Genuine quiet bombproof chap. Great family horse. Lovely nature, nothing seems to phase him. Type hard to find!

Here are the pics. Shockingly, there is someone sat on him, but what do you all think of the pony, these are the only pictures they have sent.

I'm gobsmacked that they have a heavy adult on him. poor wee chap

my 17 month old looks more mature than him and i certainly won't be sitting on her till she's 3.
He looks very sweet, but i'd have big worries that his back is wrecked.

I know it was a complete shock when they sent the pictures through, my head says no, as when I also asked what he was standing at currently, they said.............. about 13.4
Poor chap. They have him advertised for 1500 which is ridiculous, but I thought he could turn out to be a lovely sort. Goodness knows what else theyve tried to do and I didnt even bother asking if they keep his feet / jabs etc up together.

I would walk away personally. If they have someone sat on him it probably isn't the first time and he may never be a ridden prospect poor thing. If they don't care about his back they may not about everything else. Also, how do you class a horse as bombproof before ridden? I would worry they had used him for a lot more than they are saying.

I know. 13.4 exactly. At that point I stopped asking questions..... Goodness knows what else theyve neglected to do given the fact they thought it was a good idea to put some bloke on its back. Having said that, if he is not already nackered he could in a few years make a nice little chap, If he can be ridden now. Poor boy.

We went to see him last night. He is very well handled, came to call, let me pick up his feet, look at his teeth, etc, but, as expected, we walked away. I wont shame or be nasty on here or go into detail, but he will be lucky to make 14hh, I hope so much he finds a nice home.
