A thought for those lost in the September 11th Bombings

I cant believe that another year has passed since the horrific bombings on September the 11th 2001. I would like to take one moment out of my day to remember those who were killed in the bombings and to also remember the families who they left behind and the people who managed to survive these horrific attacks. I cannot even begin to imagine what these people have been through but my heart goes out to them on what must be a difficult day. God bless those who lost their lives you will never be forgotten!
 
Gosh I can't believe how long it has been. My thoughts are with everyone who's lives were affected by this tragic incident x
 
I still remember the disbelief and sadness I felt that day as if it were yesterday.

We will be having a minutes silence and trading will be stopped for that minute also later on today when the states are in.
 
Well said everyone, have been watching the tv programmes on tues evenings, it really makes you think what people went through, and still have to live with. Even my teenage girls couldnt leave the tv last night and were so clearly moved by the horrible experiences many lived through and so many didnt survive.

RIP and thoughts to anyone who has been affected by this terrible incident

Hear hear to all the above posts.
I watched the 9/11 hotel last night and i was completely overwhelmed by some of the pictures i hadn't seen before and the stories of those involved. Truly mind bending and very difficult to watch. So hard for others to comprehend what they all went through but, as ever, life has gone on but to be honest i think it is a darker more untrusting world in which we live and this day 7 years ago altered a lot of lifes and beliefs.
Hope those who lost their lifes are resting peacefully and those left behind have been able to rebuild what remains without them.
 
went to ground zero this year to pay my respects and lay flowers, and it has to be (for me) one of the saddest places on earth, when you look at the boards with messages on, and actually being there shows you the horrific scale of it all!! My heart goes out to all and my respects once again!
