A thumbs up for Dressage Deluxe and a Bleurgh!

i think it's an oven-ready, sweat-your-excess-weight-loss-off jacket, so you too can have the physique of Anky. you could get on the horse size 18 and get off it a svelte size 8.
even with that appealing bonus, i wouldn't be seen dead in it.
do you think the next thing will be metallic Anky pads?!

Oh I don't know - it might blind the dressage judges well enough to hide all sins

Thanks for the hilarious thread GB - I just snorted some Sav all over the screen (and resisted temptation to lick it off again, to save waste n'all - Aberdonian through and through :o)

 Jings, crivvens and help ma boab (as Oor Wullie would say) 'Bleurgh' wholly under estimates just how bad that jacket is!!

I'm sure Fat Boab and Soapy Soutar would second that sentiment ;) (I was brought up on the bucket-perching ne'er-do-well :o).

I'm just slightly scared that the dressage judges might be the ones wearing it!

eeek at the bleurgh! Can't imagine who would want one, unless as K suggested it's intended as a fat suit :D

Am very surprised at you perusing a dressage aficionado's site ;) it'll be bling browbands and crystal encrusted gloves next :)

re LM, I had an experience of appalling customer service with them some years back (they were very offended that I dare query when my order might arrive after waiting three weeks!!) but thought I was just unlucky and caught them on a bad day.

Was it the non-dead sheep breastplate that you bought? Being nosy as still trying to source a nice one for myself!

Passier Corvus - the buckles are brass too. Wasn't that what you're after?

PS - snakeskin must be the 2011 look as Pikeur have snakeskin-trimmed breeches with a belt to match. Cannot even begin to imagine the sheer tackyness of a gold snakeskin jacket though

it is indeed... hmmm, have had a John Whitaker one on order for the last month that is apparently in the shipping (at JW) but hasn't been located yet... think I'll be getting a refund and order another. Is it good quality leather? Looks good in the photo, especially as the elastic is plain.

Have no idea what anyone else has said on this thread, but if you even THINK of buying that disgusting jacket I am coming straight up north and dunking you in the bath until you see sense :D...

That is all ;)
