Well, looks like all you rain dancers have done a cracking good job, the only trouble is, it is blowing a gale as well.

On the plus side, there's no need for fly spray at present, just guy ropes to keep the poor ponies on the ground

What's it like where you are?

Last night on the south coast was horrid squally, gusty windy gales. And I was very sad, it woke me up and I couldnt sleep, so went and bought horsey in at 2.30am!!!!! She was very pleased.

Tonight it is not so windy, but believe it is due for heavy rain and high winds. Needless to say, horsey is in tonight :)

Not far from you Neil M .....just took the dog out with me to shut the chickens in....they have done the sensible thing and put themselves to bed! Hat and waterproofs.....its SOOOO mild despite the gale and rain. Cocker thinks this weather is brilliant and went hooning round the garden with a football.....mental.

Horse out....naked.

May I suggest less cabbage in your diet, Neil? :D

Windy, with bits of rain. Bloomin' wind blew my vegetables over! My runner beans and tomatoes! Unfortunately, i'm not looking forward to camping during the holidays :p.
But, apparently today is "Something" day, and the weather today, will repeat for the next forty days?... Whether that's true or not I don't know. But I called it Something, because I have no idea what it's called :p

Lashing it down here now, plus Neil's wind has reached North Oxfordshire.

Am mentally slapping self to remember that I own a HORSE, he is waterproof and designed to live out in all weathers and he will NOT dissolve...

So why does part of me feel such a heel?:(:o

It is hurendous here!!!! Bucketing it down with rain gail force winds , rode my friends horse 2 night with my 2 friends and wow they horses and little pony were all so highly strung but soon calmed down, bless them. Got wet twice riding 2 day  not a happy bunny at the time nor were the horses!! x

Ahh yes, all that dancing and jigging about after a nice bowl full of cabbage, I should have thought of that

Asterid, do you often buy horses when suffering from insomnia? Different from counting sheep I suppose!

The rain seems to have stopped, but the cabbage is still having a strong effect, at least we'll have some grass at long last.

Remember everybody, horses aren't made of sugar, they don't melt when they get wet.
