So, as I've been posting on here loads for the last couple of months, I thought I should be nice and say hello!
I've been on here a lot since moving house to have the horses in our back garden and since my best friend died very young and unexpectedly- seems like I don't have anyone to talk 'horsey' to, so the H&H forum has become my 'yard friends'! :p
So, a little about me & the boys- I live with my parents, we have 3 stables and 7 acres as a 'back garden' (still can't get over the excitement!) we made the move as we were really fed up with livery yards and people trying to kill my pony.
We have 3 geldings, mum's was the first we got, 16.1hh 3/4 ID, he's a fantastic horse, but very clumsy and tends to be a little lazy unless we do something he considers fun! But you can literally do anything with him, including convincing him to pull a harrow round an arena when the tractor broke- even though he's never pulled anything in his life!
Horse 2 is my pony- 14.2hh at the moment, he'll be 5 next week, we've had him since he was rising 3, welsh cob. He's a tricky horse to work out and he can get wound up easily, but he has a fantastic jump and was jumping bigger than I ever have within a few weeks of being backed- hopefully I can get the confidence to jump bigger!
Number 3 is our little shetland- he's dun and 2 years old. We bought him 8 months ago when we moved house as an extra companion, but when he's old enough we'll teach him to ride and lead and lunge, and if we have the money we'll get him broken to harness. He was born in the shetland islands and he's the cuddliest pony ever, it has never occurred to him that people might ever do anything to hurt him (you should have seen the look on his face when the vet gave him his first jab!) and he loves lying down and having cuddles in his stable :)

Wow, I rambled on for longer than I thought! Anyway, hello everyone! :p
