So it was a sad day on Monday (for me anyway) as Bug went to his new home 
It was a very sad decision to think about selling him, especially as he is the only fun one that I have what with Dot being off games and Belle & Willow being baby field potatoes. I had to think about the long term plan though as hopefully next year Dottie and Belle should hopefully be going eventing and I wouldnt have time/funds/inclination to try and event 3.
It was a sad to think about Bug having a new human but I bred the others out of my special mare and so he was the only one that could go
I thought Id do a little recap, for me mostly, about Bug and I. My boyfriend and friends took all the photos!
He came to me almost 2 years ago, from my friend, who bred him. He was 4 and was unbacked, he had been living it up in a field with his buddies and it was a shock for him to move. He was a good egg about it and within a week I had backed him.
These were his early days
First time on him
First jump!
We had a big problem when we nearly lost him. He had joint sepsis and the vets said it was only a 50/50 chance of him making it, even after surgery. He was on lots of drugs!
But he healed fantastically and was up and running again in no time
He went to dressage and won his first rosette, he thought this was dull
He started jumping again
He won at dressage
TBC........
