Thank you to everyone who messaged me last week after my near nervous breakdown at the prospect of going cross country at the weekend.

Well - he was fab!

My nerves nearly gave out on me so ended up doing the 1ft9 clear :rolleyes: which with hindsight was daft, but at least I didnt let my slef chicken out completely and it was a great confidence builder

He flew around, we had one stop which was entirely my fault, other than than he rode beautifully. and we had so soo much fun, apparently my instructor could hear me on the opposite side of the field shouting 'good boy' over every jump!!

had a go at a bit of CR SJ after and he gave me a lovely little round, albiet a tad fast and eager but we went clear and got our first ever ribbon :D:D

We may not be doing our burghley entry forms just yet but we had a fab fab day out, and I think we both thoroughly enjoyed it, I cant believe I ever doubted my fab little man!

Well done you. Glad you enjoyed it in the end. :D Don't worry about the hight atleast you did it. Better to have fun and gain confidance at a smaller hight to begin with than push yourself to go higer before you are ready and never do it again. (If you get what I mean)
