A very sad how much

If it's possible I would hang on to him and break him when he's three and a half, if you can work on him over the next winter as a four year old he will be worth a lot more if he's quiet and safe on a lead rein. There is a big market for native lead rein ponies and he certainly looks a lovely type. He shouldn't cost you much to keep if you leave him out with a rug for the worst weather, his value now isn't worth selling him really.
Sorry haven't seen any posts re Teal, waht's wrong with him?

Awwwhhhhh how lovely!!! better not show pic to my 9 year old daughter she would have him like a shot!! Just a shame I can't afford another horse even a teeny weeny pony!! Can he stay with you till a bit older and backed surely you'd get more for a rideable pony?

HH there is a post in Vets about Teal, we still arnt quite sure what is wrong with him

our welsh x shetland was out on loan with a view to buy for £750 but due to loaners situation shes coming back shes about 4 and i think we are going to keep her for a bit and then sell her later on as horse prices seem too be going mad one minute they are really high the next really low.

I would say hang on to him. He will be an eye catching little pony and you could make some money out of him once he is broken. Unbroken, unless they have done a lot in hand, just don't seem to be making the money.

I'll be after a good bombproof l/r-f/rpony later on this year, but finding one is like looking for rocking horse poo
