A Very Special Day Today!!

As title really, my mare was on a very long period of box rest for a tear in her DDFT. Shes been re-habbed to the letter and today we went to our first Dressage comp for the first time in 18months. We only did Walk & Trot and we got 2 x 3rds. I am so pleased with her. Shes come through a bad time and although a little spooky which is to be expected, she was a star. Well done Izzy!!

Well done to you both, a huge achievement and to be placed is definately the icing on the cake.

I also was nearly in tears when I won a SJ class at the first show following one of my lad's colic surgery. Wasn't even sure if we would ever compete again let alone get placed.

Put your rosettes on display and be proud of what you have achieved. X

Thanks guys the 6am start was well worth it. She didnt want to go in the trailer at first as I think she thought she was off to Horsepital again for needles and sedation and scans. Im so proud of her. We will carry on once a month going to the same venue and hopefully she will get over her spookiness and maybe we will get to the championships. I really ought to have shares in whoever it is that make Polos. Shes got the freshest breath on the yard. Bless her!!
