I have a lovely 7.5tnne Ford Cargo side loading wagon that takes 2 large horses front facing. D reg (horsey personalised number plate). Electric ramp, heating, tidy day living area, cut through cab. I've kept it regularly maintained and kept on top of any welding that needs doing, but it is a 1986 so has some rust. Only a small wagon, easy drive and handle - I'm only 5ft and not exactly strong.

My OH (in a moment of weakness I intend to take total advantage of) has said its time to upgrade to a new one. Was going to wait till Spring but my perfect wagon is for sale so am thinking of selling now. So what do you think? I was thinking around £4500?

Sparkling pink champagne and mince pies to you!

Hi, i bought a ford cargo in the summer same age and sounds the same condition? minus the electric ramp and i paid 4k for it and i think i got a bargain.
Hope that some help.

I recently sold my Bedford B reg which was a bit less well fitted than your for just shy of £3000 - I could have held out I think and got the £3250 asking price but had already bought our new one. I reckon if its tidy looking outside and the photos in the advert are good you'd be fair in asking £4500 and see what you get! If the paintwork etc aren't so smart the problem I think is getting people's interest from adverts. A full year's plating helps a lot too.
