Phoned the police about a moron in a Lancer yesterday. Today it was an arse in a fugly citroenmobile.

GGGGGGRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

What is it about the sight of horse & rider that brings out morons.

Feck off and read the highway code!!!!!!!!

Would you like to ask them to join me in the PC Rider Road Safety lessons on a Saturday morning - we are currently studying drivers responsibilities!!!!!!!!

Some woman actually wound her passenger window to shout at me today saying that I should have waved her past. Oh yes fine I'll do that with my third hand whilst trying to control my horse with the other two who is getting antsy because you are revving your car right on her tail. And then who would have got the blame if my horse had sat on her car -- mine becuase I waved her past!!!!

She literally had to wait 5 secs and if she had driven past normally - carefully - my horse wouldnt have even batted an eye lid. Then she said "I have horses too!!!!" I was gobsmaked and spent rest of idea thinking of all the things I wish I had said - completely ruined my ride

Complain to the RS in writing pointing safety/insurance and the like.

I was taught that it was wrong to ever wave a driver past because if the rider had judged the road wrongly and the driver being waved on ploughed into an oncoming car eg just appeared round a bend, the rider could be at fault. Let the driver make their own decision. Love Nic01's suggestion though!

Yes that was what I was taught too for the same reasons which made it even more laughable when she said it! Unbelievable!

I wave on if I can see clearly what is ahead. I never wave on if approaching a bend or obstruction. I only take my hands off the reins for road signals and when checking behind.
