My luck has run out at last. I went to Dorset yesterday and jumped the 1m amateur first, she was jumping lovely, really nice, just popping over everything and then get to fence 7 and she stops

. I was so shocked, jumped it the second time and finished the course. The coursebuilder said she could see no reason at all for it, oh well. Then went in the 1.05, took my stick this time, went clear in the first part, then had the first jump in the JO

, and turned too tight into an upright and forgot to kick

. But she did jump really nice apart from the rider error. Sister Cath had a good show, Spot won the 1.05 and came 4th in the 1.10 and Floyd won the 1.10 - she came home with £155

She won £118 last weekend as well

Today I went to Area 42 show and it was a lovely setting, the ground was good and all the jumps had flowers etc they had done a really nice job up there, it was just raining

.

Anyway Madam decided that she was in a slight mood for some reason, as soon as I got on she was off, usually I get about 30 seconds before she has to start jogging which gives me time to do her girth up. Today she was just on one. I did the 1m and she had 2 poles and I turned her before a double as we were completely wrong for it. She jumped the last half of the course nice just started out a bit keen. I then decided to go home as my feet were soaking wet as I forgot my wellies and I didn't have any dry socks in the lorry. I would also have had to off waited for ages as the next class I could enter was class 4. It now feels like Sunday as I didn't go to work Friday

, and I must do some revision as I have exams in a week and haven't opened my text books yet

Well done. how sounds lik i as lovely, were there many people there? Glad the ground hld up, they were unlucky with the rain though weren't they.
Get some bloody revision done you!

I think I might have seen you riding Sarnita down to the 1.15, not sure, didn't see Kayleigh either. You're back early how did you do?

Could of done, I missed Kayleigh as well forgot to write down her surname otherwise could of found her stable.

Sarnita jumped a really green round in 1.15 on Fri unlike her and had her worst no. of faults ever! She made up for it in the next class with 3rd in 1.20 open with a sensible double clear. She then won the 1.15 next day in a 12 horse jump off with a cracking turn back which only one other tried and they ended up in the bottom of it. Rags jumped some nice rounds and continues to improve but is not competitive.

Didn't jump today as I was pleased with both and my classes would have been later so considering weather came home early.

Well Done - You have to go pretty quick to win in the main ring at dorset - you need to go back eventing

The jumps are nice in the main ring.

Loved the place hope to back in August for that show. I could get into this SJing lark the prize money is certainly an improvement!

How much money has she won? was it less than £600 on friday as if it was you have qualified for Scope
smile.gif
You've also qualified for the 1.15 final in August

Well you have qualified for the Blue Riband Final (foxhunter) which is up at Scope (Stafford) first week of september ish. A lot of proper SJers try very hard to qualify for this. If you go it is a fabulous show.

The Dorset 1.15 final - which you have also qualified for has £250 first prize I think

Fab might go to that if it doesn't clash with any of the events. Must read my schedule more carefully. Just looked up her winning she had £240 notional before this w/e. Yipeee

Scope is fab, its like riding at HOYS, the main indoor arena even has a lake and fountains in it. Did you enter the Fox part if not I would phone dorset up so that they know you should have been

*ahem*
what do you mean going over to the dark side, Ive just come back and now youre heading off there lol

Saw you in the 1metre amateur - everyone was stopping at that fence so dont feel too bad!

Was that the chestnut? We didn't have a stop just a fence down.

SJ- you also need to qualify in the Smarter Builders 1.15 then you'll have 2 classes to do up there. There is also the Top Tack Adventurer 1.05 which is not to have won £300 - but that might be a bit small for you.... And there are B & C classes which are 1.25
