A 'what the hell is this...' picture thread..

Help appreciated as always.

Bracken has this funny mark, its about 5cms away from the centre of his armpit, towards his heart if that makes sense. I don't know how long he's had it for, I only noticed it yesterday.

As far as I can tell, its not pussy, or itchy, or painful in any way. I can poke it and prod it and stretch it and he's not at all fussed. It just seems to be a sort of, well, hole! It has smooth edges to it, and the centre just disappears to black - I don't want to try to stick anything in it to see what it reaches but it doesn't draw blood or anything and I've squeezed it really hard? Maybe a skin tag? But not sure what that would look like...?!

Hope someone has answers otherwise its the vets for us on Monday morning. xx

See if he has a matching one on the other side - it looks like a nipple to me

Nope just checked again and he definitely doesnt have one on the other side - its very high up for nipples, in between his front legs? Also all his other nipples come out, this one has a very distinct hole in the middle that definitely heads in.

Would be really pleased if it was a nipple, after everything recently I just don't need any more time at the vets...!

a wart or a skin tag?? doesnt looks very sarcoidy or anything.

How its nothing sinister, looks unlikly that it is.

Could still just be a random nipple, one of my mum's dogs has an odd one

My dog has a few lumps that look like these, some apparently caused by her licking little cuts and scrapes, the vet told us as long as she doesn't make them bleed, there's nothing to worry about, so hopefully it's the same thing.
