I decided to give my little cob 3 months after he unceremoniously dumped me for no apparent reason.
I had not ridden him for8 months due to pregnancy and when I brought him back into work he was like a different person. Flighty and spooky and down rate dangerous.
I decided to take my cob back to basics and reback him - right back to long reins and lunging and lying across the saddle.
Scroll forward to today - it seems odd that this happened today but today my traditional heavyweight cob did a correct thru from behind and straight flying change... The cob I was going to let go to a dealer has given me everything I've asked for and more - he's still quirky and definitely not a novice ride but he's so clever and I'm looking forward to the day I can bring him out at medium
but today we' ll stick to novice!
