Hi there.

I was wondering if it is possible to purchase brand new blades and they process to cut not a hair at all? I daren't phone the company back because they accidentally sent my order twice and didn't charge me so i feel like i really can't phone and ask :/

Anyway, I purchased A6 course Liscop blades, (because i realised they are imperative to have in your collection when you meet a wooly mammoth that proceeds to use up x3 freshly sharpened A2's ((when i usually get 2 clips *minimum* per set)) ) and i put them on my Wolseley Swift and they didn't cut a thing. Had a good play around with the tension to no a vil. So i switched back to some A2s which were freshly sharpened and got to work on a Highland, luckily his coat was minimal for a Highland, and his owners double rugging had down me a favour. Please note that other blades work perfectly fine before and after said A6's came on the scene so very much doubt the problem is any thing other than blades?

I do have a set of Liscop Td-100 ancient, but have never let me down - I didn't think to try the blades in these, but sense tells me that wouldn't make a difference, but the question still bobbed into my head - Would Liscop + Liscop suit better than a Liscop blade + different branded ? Just a thought.

Anyhow is it really possible that my hard earned ££ bought me blades that don't cut? I am new to A6 blades, is there a secret way of handling them as to which i am not familiar? Something i need to know?

Lastly for any one reading, who finds the need for A6's, or has used them in the past and what breeds are your horses?

Thank you in advance guys. :)

new blades quite often don't cut well till they have been lapped. once they are done I am sure they wll cut fine. I hate new blades as they always feel a bit scratchy till bedded in.
