So get to yard at 6am to turn out before work. The family decided mucking out on the one weekend they're home in a month is too much effort so left boys out in field all weekend and neglected to tell me. Cue one wasted journey and one lost hour of sleep. Annoyed, but a simple misunderstanding it seems so have forgiven that.
I then get a text that reads 'i had a tidy up around yard. Might be worth leaving electric fencing on as horses are just starting to get a little comfortable - something about field rotation - and then this... Finally, G needs to have his neck muscles worked a little if you can. I worked over poles yesterday and he seemed stiff but also weak in the neck. Also ribs showing a bit, needs working again, he looked fab 3 weeks ago.
1) you neglected to tidy up your stable and left it full of wee and poo so don't get sanctimonious at me because you swept the feed room.
2) in their big t/o rugs the fence will have no effect.
3) you want your horses to remain uncomfortable or 'not at ease' do you?!?
4) you don't know the neck from the tail, you've had about 4 lessons, have yet to master rising trot.
5) I will happily work on his neck if you suggest me some exercise. Oh, you can't as you don't know any.
6) 3 weeks ago you complained he was fat. He hasn't changed.
I know I shouldn't get annoyed as I treat this horse as my own, with all expenses covered, probably 90% of the time, but come on, I'm not being unreasonable to be a little annoyed am I?
