I went to get Tango, my little mare in last night and discovered her rug had a huge rip in it across the back
It wouldn't be so bad but her other rug got a huge rip in it at the weekend as well, and I can't afford to get them mended at the moment. I took it off and bless her she had a bald patch where Canto (my other horse) had bitten her, hence the ripped rug!
So I've had to split them up again now. I think it's due to her being a bit hormonal at the moment, but I'm really annoyed about the rips. I spent last night sat at the kitchen table with the rug over my knee, sewing away to fix it ready for this morning!
And the worst thing was, as I was hunched over the rug, sewing away, my Mum's husband crept up and took a photo
saying I looked funny and it was an opportunity not to be missed!
Anyway, now I've fixed one rug I've decided I'm going to take my 3 ripped travel boots home and fix those, along with the other ripped turnout! I'll be an expert seamstress by the time I've finished! lol
