I have some kind of bug or flu or something - feel horrendous. So I asked Vicstress to do my boy today.

When she got up there she found my NEW heavyweight stable rug had been flung in a heap on the floor in the wet (as it hasn't stopped raining here).

The weekend girl has obviously failed to notice my notes and repeated requests not to do this.

a) i have no where to dry my rugs especially a heavyweight one like that

b)my horse has now had to have a spare one on because of her stupidness

c) what gives her the right to throw other people's belongings on the floor in the rain....i don't care what she does with her own but NOT MINE!!

Sorry for the huge rant bu this is not the first time she has f***ed up and ive just about come to the end of my tether with her.

She has turned horses out in wrong rugs, wrong fields, no boots, left horses on stable all nite with turnouts on, left myhorse all nite without being mucked out, no water no rug change............................ need i go on!?

Just had to vent....am goingto confront her next wkend aswell as complaining to YM as i'm fed up of dealingwith all this.

She's a flippin idiot and if she doesn't want to work there then noone's forcing her...

Um sorry - are you talking about Vicstress? Its a bit cheeky posting about another forum member if so!

Very cheeky dumping your stuff though, I woul dhave words if I were you.

Saying that, have you seen the weather? I didnt hang around either...

Hehe no of course it wasn't her!!

It was stupid saturday girl and when Vics went up there she found my rug dumped on the floor and so had torug my boy with another spare.

Just fed up with her incompetence really. This is a relatively "small thing" but leaving a horse with no water all night WAS NOT.

Know of any nice yards in Surrey with vacancies........

arghh that would majorly pee me off! That so isn't acceptable, especially leaving a horse with not water, and in the wrong bloody field!!

Hope she sorts herself out, or leaves! xxx

I take it as Vicestress went up to yard and found rug like that??
I've been on a few yards where this seems to be normal practice!!Its a pain in butt esp when they are wet and it doesn't take seconds to throw over wall etc.
Would definitely see yard manager!!

Yeh I wish she would bloody leave too - it's all obviously TOO MUCH TROUBLE for her to do the work....but I'm sure there would be plenty of people willing to take the job.

I'm having words with her next wkend and I HOPE the manager will too.....

Yeh i have even put a rug rack in my stable so thre's no excuse really.

And as for all the other co*k ups......

I have tried to be nice to her and understand that humans make mistakes but there comes a time when it's not good for any of the horses to have endure this crap (or the owners!)

Am waiting on Vicstress to get over here and bring me dvds to cheer me up!!!

My horse is kept in Banstead at the mo and I can't really afford to move him too much further south of London as I live quite central....it seems quite hard to find anything suitable in the area.

There's loads of yards, but not many vacancies!!

GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!

this sort of behaviour reeeeeaaly pisses me off!! i know exactly how you feel as this used to happen to my stuff at the dump of yard i was at last year, rugs, tack, grooming kit, you name it it was left dumped all over the show.....GRRRRRRRR!!

Yes it's just the disrespect of it.....maybe I should confront her with a cleaning bill for each time she's done it!!

It's funny, it must be only certain people tho...most of my yard are really respectful of other people's property and we all have an understading that if you have to borrow/use someone's belongings - it is put back in the condition they found it!

Oh well.....she's not the brightest spark.........

I am really looking for yards south of the river, purely because my daughter goes to school in south london so just makes sense as im already heading over there....plus im from surrey so i quite like being "at home"

Thanks for the suggestion tho
