Lyla had the farrier yesterday morning - came out of stable quite lame NSF last night. Almost walking tip-toey, v sore turning
Farrier came back, took shoes off, hoof tested - no reaction - put shoes back on, still sore
Farrier suggested she may have bruised sole ?? (He's not long qualified and is not her regular farrier who is on hols)
Turned her out last night, better on grass than hardstanding, see if she'd walk any stiffness off over night.
This morning still lame
Not a problem?? Got the saddle fitter coming tomo (after much bucking drama she's had near 4weeks off).
Do I cancel the saddle fitter today ? Sods law she'll be sound then tomo morning
Any other suggestions for sudden lameness after shoeing??
Help. Please. Am losing the will
Thank You in advance.
cup of tea for everyone xx
