I put my lovely white fluffy Stephens sheepskin numnah in the wash today and it has fallen apart! It hadn't been used or washed in about a year but I didn't expect it to disintigrate! Wonderful cos I can't afford to replace it at the mo. Aaaargh!

aarrgghh what a bummer. i have a sheepskin half pad, that i was concidering putting in the wash but i don't think i will after that. what a shame though and they aren't cheap!!!!

I've washed it loads of times before on a wool wash and it's always been fine. Maybe it was because it had been sat in my locker for a year? There is literally fluff everywhere! It looks like there's been a sheep massacre in my utility room :(

Gutting :(. Very unlucky as I was my sheepskin things as well. Or I did... before my horse decided he's allergic to them.
