I need Quila to meet more dogs that aren't the thugs that caused Jack's dog aggression issues as she's still OTT submissive and socialising is hard but she gets loads better with exposure. I don't know anyone locally with dogs so does anyone fancy walking with us? :D

LOL - sorry, long way for me to drive ;)

But - are you still coming down to the holiday cottage? The neighbour has 6 spaniels and I have three assortments :D Plenty to socialise with there!

I thought that was next weekend...bum! Have double booked myself BC :( Am planning on taking her over your way soon in the vain hope that the hills tire her out! So will give you a shout when I get organised.

Ravenwood - has come down to the cottage or fly to see my sister and big sister won as I've not met my niece but it's a certain for next year!

SU - she's already packed her bag ;)

Oooh, rubbish, I wanted to meet the honorary stumpy-legged huskies. :p I also need a calming influence as Dax has never been to that kind of event before, to the point where I am considering bringing the halti out of retirement just in case. Eek.

Do let me know if you ever come out this way, I'm good for a walk and a cuppa. :)

I got all muddled with dates but friend in Doncaster who's very lonely has won since I went to the Spring ones. Not that madam would be a good calming influence. Jack is Mr Cool but she's REALLY not :p

Well I have a bouncy yet friendly Pippin in Staffs next to Cannock Chase. If you just need to walk and exposure. And I have car don't work as well.

I'm going to Weston Park on Saturday are dogs welcome.

Aaw was really hoping to meet Quila and Jack at Weston Park. I'm a bit short of time at the mo but could maybe meet up with you some time Annette.
BC as above we will be at Weston, not sure if Evie will be a calming influence though, I usually take gencon for the first 10 minutes or so at such events and then she settles. Maybe we'll meet Pippin as well, thought I suspect there may be a few more spangles than huskies there.;)

Yes, I think she will stick out like a sore thumb amongst the horsey set with their spangles and JRTs! :o

Do pop over if you see us, I'll be the one being followed by the RSPCA for having a dog throttling itself on the end of a lead. I'm prepared to be pleasantly surprised, actually, and at least she'll be tired for the husky meet on Sunday.

Annette, just remembered about the winter meet, we'll hopefully see you there if not before. :)

We're in Berks, but travelling up to Scotland at the end of the month. We were going to stop off around Stafford area (ish) for a walk - happy to meet up, could do either 23rd or 30th, for an hour or so around lunchtime. We were planning to stop near Great Bridgeford, not sure if that's anywhere near you, or if you could suggest somewhere near-ish to the M6?

Poppy is a small 6 month old JRT x. Very very bouncy but not at all aggressive - she will jump up and try to hug other dogs though :o She's surprisingly sensitive with dogs that don't want to play, but do say if you think she might be a bit much!

I am probably too far away, but if you fancy a walk in the Snowdonia National Park or along the beach of the Menai Straights give me a shout.

Dylan (choc lab) is just over a year old. He is very friendly with other dogs, a little bouncy for the first few minutes, but then plays really nicely or ignores, depending on the reaction from the other dog. I have never seen any aggression from him at all, even whilst having his head mounted by a husky after dog training last night :-0

We have been helping an irish water spaniel puppy which was petrified of all other dogs. He is now not only happy to play with Dylan, but actively searches for him & other dogs, which is great. Our other neighbours have 2 rotties, a GSD & a border collie - all of which are great with other dogs.
