LOL - well I guess if I left at about 3pm, I would get there for 6ish, as long as MM doesn't mind me kipping on the settee still, and then leave first thing..........
I'll see how it goes nearer the time
I'll bring all those last minute things that you all forgot - like matches and a bottle opener !!
RW - I never travel without a bottle opener - that would be sacrilage!!
Anyhoo as far as food is concerned I will bring a big bowl of potato salad and a bowl of coleslaw - home made of course! I will also bring chicken wings/legs in a BBQ sauce and my special BBQ pudding which will remain secret until the night! I can bring rolls for burglars and bangers too.
Spudlet - the food will be safe from the marauding spangles as I have a cool box.....
Oh I wish I could come, I can't get my head around driving up and back so far in one evening though, and if I stayed I have no idea what to do with all my dogs and horses that would be left at home! Will have to give it a miss unfortunately I think. Maybe us southerners can do another one this summer. I'm happy to host.
Oh my word Kitty! He is going to be HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! I think Ro and Lil will beg to differ on your classification of weeny when they are confronted with a monster pup 3 times the size of them!
Am pathetically excited about camping with the boys and meeting you folk and wooflets.
Was going to call dibs on tata salad but shall I do assortment of rolls/bread and snacky things like crisps and dips etc... i.e. all the ****?
Blimey can you lot stop rambling here please, this is getting dead awkward to sort out

Blackcob - pasta salad, strawberries and soft drinks

Everyone - BEER (or some other liquid refreshment which you will enjoy!)
Booboos - veggie stuff and tiramasu
Mollichop - rolls/bread, crisps dips etc
Kitsune - pudding of some kind
Stinky Unicorn - Home made potato salad, home made coleslaw, chicken wings/legs in BBQ sauce and special BBQ secret pudding
Cats are packing their bags as I type! As long as I can persuade them to come in when I get home from work they will be shut in the house so will be fine. Presumably all dogs are ok with horses, if not my killer donkey will deal with them.
What shall I provide, I will get the charcoal, and can get some yummy, high calorie ice cream to go with strawbs, what else? Oh and paper plates cos I can't be bothered to wash up
Henry is very likely to run into the pony field if there is any poo picking to be done, but he won't bother the horses - am happy to keep him on the lead if you'd rather he stayed out though
He's welcome to poo pick. Field is fairly well fenced, tho suspect he could get through gate, I will make sure donkey is out of the way as he seriously is a little s*it with dogs.
I'm glad you suggested that, I was puzzling at how I'd bring whipped cream or ice cream without it either melting in the car or the dog getting at it. Will bring a few packets of plastic cups then, don't blame you for not dealing with our washing up.
Madam will chase an already running horse but ignores a still one, she'll be kept on a lead at all times anyway so cats/horses/barbecue food will be safe. Depending on the space available and the co-operation of others it may be possible to let her join a group hoon, I just don't think it's fair to ask you all to constantly jump out of the way of the long line, especially if one's had a bit to drink!
