AAD Meet up - UPDATE

Mine will stay on leads too I should think, I dont trust Islay an inch but will see whether Amy and Flick can behave enough to have a run around, they are fab to watch :D

Absolutely right about paper plates, I'll bring some paper napkin things too as I always find BBQs get very messy...:p

Spudlet - burgers
Gazehound - sausages, BBQ sauce, paper napkin things
Blackcob - pasta salad, strawberries and soft drinks
Annette - veggie chicken-style burgers and salad stuff/plastic cheese
Everyone - BEER :) (or some other liquid refreshment which you will enjoy!)
Booboos - veggie stuff and tiramasu
Mollichop - rolls/bread, crisps, dips etc
Kitsune - pudding of some kind
Stinky Unicorn - Home made potato salad, home made coleslaw, chicken wings/legs in BBQ sauce and special BBQ secret pudding
MurphysMinder - charcoal, ice cream

*sulks* Stupid Edinburgh, having to be so far away from Shropshire, who's stupid idea was that?! :mad:

Will someone at least promise me they are bringing a camera so those of us who can't make it can at see piccys (and laugh at the spangles nicking everything before it gets anywhere near the BBQ) :rolleyes: :D

I wasn't sure what time you were meeting and was thinking that perhaps I could detour on the way home to say hi to all of you...as pony stands quite happily on the trailer.

You're meeting in the evening though, I think?

Hmm....I do bake a mean ginger cake but evenings are a bit difficult for me really with the marauding family and farm chores.

You can't offer ginger cake and then say you're not coming.:( Sorry yes it is going to be evening , my fault really as I work on a Saturday. Any chance you can escape the family if only for a short while.

eeek! I'd LOVE to come and bring my mad as a hatter and 'I only listen when I feel like it' Rosie, but she gets car sick and I've no transport :(

That is unless I can find a travel sickness remedy that works and hitch a ride with anyone coming from the leicester area?

ooh iv not been in here for a while. whats this meet up etc, im not going through all 8 pages lol. h&h seems to be prety slow for me these last couple of days!
 
If you want to bring Quila you are welcome to give her a little run around in the garden away from the other dogs, obviously mine will have been in there, and Buffy hasn't been vaccinated last 2 years because of reaction problems but she doesn't mix with any dogs other than my own. There would not be a problem to bringing your car in the field so she could stay in there in her crate but still be with us.
 
Thank you MM....think I have it sorted (won't hurt little brother to not go out for one Saturday :p) Might be a little bit late arriving though.

Stupid question but are we meeting for lunch or for later on in the day? It's just that OH will kill me if I disappear all day on Saturday for HHO and all day on Sunday for horsey show...
 
Yep I suggested 5pm and no-one has said they cant do that time yet :D BBQ to commence around 6.30 I thought??? Depends how long Spudlet and Stinky Uniform take to sort it out I suppose :)
