AAD Meet up - UPDATE

Had hoped to get rid of my son to his dads, but he's decided to stay at home (I think he's just wants to have a nosy at the dogs). If I get a few extra burgers is it all right with you all if he has a bit of our food, I am sure he will scurry in the house rather than eat with us:p. Bless him he did say he thought Buffy would be stressed by a lot of other dogs, so I reassured him that I wasn't going to introduce her to them all and she could stay in the house with him. That is Buffy my dog not Buffy2 who is coming to the bbq.:D
 
My immediate response was going to be "is your son hot?", but I then realised I have no idea if your son is 2 or 32 and it is perhaps not the best way to introduce oneself to a relative stranger who has gone to the trouble of hosting a party for us. :eek: :o :p

I'll behave, promise. :D

Had a quick google....are you next to a chapel? It's only 23 miles away.

Come on then ladies.....what do you need/want me to bring? I'm not sure I'll have time to bake the infamous ginger cake as we have a busy day tomorrow with PC etc.

I will, however, happily grab some goodies be it food or drink.
 
I have a very young mum, I was hedging my bets. :p Don't worry, my snoothound will be a very effective chaperone and he's welcome to peruse my wares. My foodly wares, that is. Y'know.

Saw the long drive, stabling and bales on google street view and thought "that looks like it could be the place". :-)
 
Spudlet I think there is about 12 coming - could be wrong but I think there will be loads of food.:D:D:D

I am waiting to be towed to Kwik Fit :eek:- have flat tyre so I am a little behind schedule:eek::eek: - not panicking at all!!:eek::eek::eek: So don't rush as I have yet to buy the stuff to make the coleslaw/Tayto salad. Still on the bright side at least the car will be fully functional for our journey......;):D:D:D

Well I have 8 posh burgers, as I believe there are vegetablists in attendance as well:p:D That's ok then!

You wouldn't believe how difficult it is to find plastic cups in a supermarket - hope you all like Spongebob, Disney princesses and Mr Men. :eek: :D

Just finising up making veggie-friendly pasta then off to lunge the snoot for an hour before we leave in the hope of removing some exuberance. :o

MM, if you get a call from a strange mobile number it's cos I is lost. :p
