Thought it was time we did a reminder/finalised some details for the day - Mollichop reminded me it was only 4 weeks away when we were walking yesterday!:eek: - so here goes. :)

Everyone is welcome to come and join us - dog or no dog as there are a few that can be 'loaned' out for the day (that is loaned not dognapped Numpty:rolleyes) :).

The timings/proposal for the day is as follows.....

Meet 11 - 11.30 on the green in Exton Village in Rutland LE15
11.30 - 1.00(ish) Walk/hoon in Exton Park - safe for off lead activities as no roads,cars,livestock etc but maybe a few bunnies/hares.....;);)
1.00 - to whenever adjourn to The Fox and Hounds on Exton Green for drink/lunch etc

As before I have limited room for people who want to overnight - loads of room for tents in the garden if your hard enough....;):D and possibly floorspace if really cold (although cottage isn't a sauna:rolleyes:).

Please check your maps etc for distance/driving times - if you want numbers for b&bs etc let me know. If it helps Exton is the other side of the A 1 from Burghley to give you an idea of direction etc

Definite names on here please so we can make sure we have phone numbers etc for everyone who is coming for last minute directions etc I also need to know if you are bringing a tent :D

Boss threw a slight spanner (baby spanner?) in the works on Friday - "I might need you to be in Liverpool on 2nd and 3rd...but I might not" :eek:

Dammit man, tell me for definite either way!

So travel plans are on hold for the moment but I'll make it work :D Might raise a few eyebrows with a combo of walking boots and posh work clothes... :o

(p.s. anyone not keen on having their dog "borrowed" should make themselves known before I start compiling a list of likely targets :p)

(p.p.s. I only said that to be polite, you have no choice in the matter :D)
 
i will be coming with Ocsar and Dash but most likely not staying over. Oscar is the friendliest dog on the planet and happy to be borrowed by anyone who is prepared to spend the entire day telling him how gorgeous he is :rolleyes:
 
I'm not entirely sure I will be able to make it - I break up from uni the week after so under a lot of pressure that weekend to get stuff finished and handed in, plus I start on retail Christmas hours from next week and will find it hard to wrangle a weekend off. :(

I will have a flip through the diary and see what I can do as I would hate to miss it, will try and give you as much notice as possible in case I need to beg some floor space.
 
I think I'll be there, won't need to stay. It depends on something else though, will see how things go this weekend, then I can tell you:D
 
Hello Pip and I are coming over only 1hr43mins away :p. If anyone from the Staffordshire area can't go because of transport or doesn't want to drive I will have a car with a spare seat and if required an empty boot (will put pip on back seat) only a ford focus so no great danes or wolf hounds! :mad: unless they tuck their legs in. :D What date is it on?
 
Ooh - only 4 weeks away!
Me and Purdey are definitely coming - I have told her that this will have to be her birthday party - her 1st birthday isn't actually til the following week but this is the nearest she will get to having a birthday party!
I will have a spare seat in my car and enough room for one dog if anyone needs a lift from west leicestershire:D

But just too far (231 miles and 4hr 10 mins according Google maps!)

Seeing as I drive a tractor type car the cost wouldn't be justifiable :(

Have fun though and I expect lots and lots of pictures :)

I'm just over the Staffs boarder and a lift would be amazing!
