Aarrgggggghhhh!! Why does the forum time out!!!

I have just typed a really long post, which I just cant be @rs3d to type again, I went to submit and then im not logged in, I type it in again, then I get some stupid thing saying zero info or HPP 404, so I go back and its gone!!!!!!!!!! does everyone elses user time out or is it just mine?

Mine does that when connection playing up. As far as I know,you stay logged in,unless you shut pc down or log off.

well the post didnt post, I should start copying and pasting just incase, I really cant be bothered to write it again, it became longer than expected, may post it again in a few days when I can actually be bothered, it always seems to just log me off if im not using it after 10 minutes, boils my blood sometimes. ARRGHHH

I do everytime, it just doesnt work, I think its this computer, its the same with facebook, it will not remember me (but seems to remember everyone else :O), I seriously feel like murdering this computer right now and smashing my head against a wall....

However, as regards your problem: I have the same! Sometimes, it'll let me stay logged in for hours. At other times, it kicks me off every 10 minutes or so. I've learnt the hard way to ctrl-c my longer posts just before hitting "submit", so that I can just paste them if I do get logged out.

I find that the forum falls over, still, quite a bit.

As for being logged out - yep, if I don't click on anything on the forum within 10-15 mins, I get logged out. Lovely and secure if someone nicks my computer and attempts to take over my HHO ID, but bloody irritating otherwise!
