In yorkshire? If so really nice lady, very helpful and open and absolutely no pressure to buy. I didn't buy in the end as the horse wasn't exactly what I wanted. When I went to view she'd just sold a load the previous weekend/week (in fact a customer was picking one up as I arrived) so there were not many left to sell but the ones that were for sale looked well looked after and nicely put together (just all were too small or big for me). In fact I think she has some nice ones for sale at the minute, if I was taller and had more competition ability I'd snap CeeBee up as he looks gorgeous. I think there are some posts already on here by people who have bought and they all seem happy with their horses.

hi
i have bought from Michelle recently and found the whole experience nothing but a joy. We had had a very bad experience buying private so looked to Michelle after meeting her son Chris.

Michelle was very welcoming and made us feel at ease and introduced me to tonto.
tonto is a 15h Irish cob who was only 5 and a half yet was perfect in the school and out on hacks.
after the girls who work along side Michelle had rode him i was given the opportunity and as i don’t like to be watched when trying horses they left me alone with my partner to try him.

we decided tom as we now call him was perfect for us but even when we got cold feet due to having my mare pts Michelle was brilliant and gave us time to decide if we wanted to go ahead.

Yes some of the horses at abbey glen do look under weight as some one has mentioned above however Michelle refuses to sell them/work them until they are back to fighting fit and knows and loves each of them

It took a week for tom to be vetted due to using my busy vets but in that time i came and rode tom several times both in the school and out on hacks.

Michelle had only had tom a few weeks but she had got to know him well and knew his quirks like being nervous which allowed us to decided if he was the one for us

i would like to say a huge thank you to Michelle, Hannah, Frankie, Zoë and charlotte and all the others for all there help in this process and will be seeing you again when we look to buy my partner a horse.

all the best
Helen Tim and our new friend tom
