I used it for my horse as advised by a horse physio. She did her magic on his back and then said to either lunge him in the Pessoa or ride him in the Abbot-Davies until her next visit (he wasn't allowed to jump during that period either). When she came back she was really pleased with the improvement and he was allowed to jump etc again. When the saddle fitter next came he also noticed a big difference and even showed me the before and after by using those bendy things they put over the horses back for sizing etc (hope that makes sense).

Even though I read the instruction book I used it for the first time in a lesson. I found this really helped. My instructor also lunged my horse in it first before I got on as she wanted to make sure it didn't upset my him. He didn't even bat an eyelid. I only used the basic position (not the one where you attach it to the tail!)

They don't make them anymore so the only place I found one was on Ebay. It cost me a fortune but I needed one so had no choice!
