My mum has just purchased one. She's used one before years ago on her arab she used to own.
Now we have a difficult horse we're going to try and train and as he has a nasty habit of rearing, planning to incorporate the tail attachment.
Only problem is, we don't know how you tie it securely to t he horses tail??!! It just says in the manual to tie a Reef knot. As neither me or my mum have partook in voyages at sea, we haven't the first clue how to tie a damn reef knot.

Please help guys!!!

I think a reef knot two knots in opposite directions, so left over right then right over left or vice versa, but I could be wrong.
So sorry, no help at all am I

This is how I always remember it - call one price of string A and one B then...

A over B and A comes up, B over A and A goes down!
