The only hunting I've done since I've lived near Aberdeen was a Charity Mock Hunt where we chased a small child with (fake) floppy ears on her pony. Rather embarrassing as my horse got completely carried away, jumped anything in his path to get past everyone (not a normal occurance) and ended up overtaking the 'Mock'. Haven't ever heard of any other hunting going on in the Area, although others might know different. As a result I'm going drag hunting in Sussex on Christmas Eve!

I've just tried googling Hunting and Aberdeenshire, and can only come up with fishing, shooting and deer stalking, which I don't think is quite what you had in mind?!

Laird of Rickerton Estate just outside Stonehaven used to have one every boxing day,don't know if they do a mock one or not now.Was never really a big turnout for it that I saw-used to livery at one of the places he rented out.

Yea definitely used to,was a good few yrs ago now don't know if the carried on with mock or what after ban
Remeber watching the hounds go into a farmers field and thinking cheeky beggars!Was probably lairds land anyway.
Never kept track of it as its not thing that interests me.

Well.............................I cant 100% remember as it wasn't me that took him, it was the girl who had him on loan. She did say it was 'interesting' but that he jumped anything put in front of him!
