In June my mare was diagnosed with grade 4 ulcers and we started treating with Gastrogard but it became really expensive really quickly (the ulcers were so severe she was taking a long time to heal). So I did about a month of Gastrogard and then continued with Abgard for another 45 days (1 tube/day for 15 days plus 1/2 tube/day for 30 days). I didn't rescope her after the treatment but she was feeling and looking much better.
In December the had a light colic, and I took her to the hospital so she could be rescoped again. I was expecting *some* ulceration, specially because I found out they weren't feeding enough hay at the old boarding facility so she was going empty stomached for too long. Surprise surprise, grade 4 ulcers again. This time I'm treating with Abgard only and she will be rescoped at the end of the month, so I can send you the results if you wish.
