Although I already have 4 beautiful dogs, I find myself debating another Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppy that my friend has presented to me. I am not sure I would want a male puppy for a few reasons....as in how they "mark" their territory while on walks A LOT. I have a husky male already and our walks are full of lots of stops. I have been told by a couple people that if I were to neuter at an early enough age, this type of behavior could be eliminated(male pup won't lift leg). Is there any truth to this? Would a male pup not lift his leg to pee if he was fixed early? This is probably a very dumb question. ;-)
