when you got off your mare, if you didnt know what to do, couldnt you have asked someone else on the yard while you where there or called someone? you havent told us if youve put anything on it, so if shes just left there with open sores, i suggest you go back up the yard and put some sudocream or an anti bac cream then get a vets advice.

Has she had a rug over them today? Just wondering if that has irritated the bites/rash. Is the area where they are getting bigger or swollen? If it was my horse I would probably clean with an antiseptic wash and maybe put some antiseptic powder/cream on and see how they were tomorrow. And if she wears a stable rug that might touch them I would be tempted to leave it off tonight.

Could she have rubbed on a freshly treated fence or door? Only these spots sound like they might be blisters. Whatever they are she won't hurt overnight as long as you wash them off with antiseptic and put something like cream or wound powder on them. Can you keep her in? Then the early morning flies won't be having a go at her.

E45 will be fine. Its water based and is for allergies of all sorts, it's just a soothing cream. We use it for sunburn.

no i was told fly bites and not to worry and now im like bugger there deff not right at all
and so she has to say in?

If they are open and bleeding then flies will be attracted to them and will lay eggs in the wounds. You really don't want her crawling with maggotts. Flies are about from around 5:30am at the mo, so unless you are up very early I would have her in to lessen the fly attack.

right atm she is in no rug as i didt want it to rub them and no its a actuly open and bleeding about half of them the others are just lumps with no hair

so clean it out stick some cream on and leave her in ?

Hun, bring her in; put some cream on; don't put a rug on in case it rubs them; if your YO is around, ask for advice; call the vet tomorrow.

When the vet is with you tomorrow, ask him/her for a list of things you should have in a basic horse first aid kit. We got our basic kit from a local big equine centre, and we've added to it over time.

well she is in mrs mozart filling her belly up lol
ok do you think it could be bad? :/

Unless the area where the spots/bites/rash is in increasing I doubt very much it's anything other than a localised allergy to flies/plant/something else. But you should probably just at least speak to the vet tomorrow to put your mind at rest. Keep it clean and dry and away from flies. Let us know how you get on. :)
